“The state should decide to sell, after a thorough analysis of each company, the minority participations of the state belonging to the State Assets Realization Authority (AVAS) and the Privatisation Office with the Ministry of Economy”, Videanu explained.
The minister gave as an example the case of CEZ company which bought the Electrica Oltenia company and used a contractual right to buy the minority shares package, the price to pay for it, according to an analysis, being to be bigger than the one it paid for the majority shares package.
