Loading ...Romania’s broadest money supply (M3) was up 0.6 percent in July from June to 181.384 billion lei, while when compared to last July it grew 12.5 percent, the National Bank of Romania (BNR) announced on Tuesday.
The cash in circulation totals 24.464 billion lei, up one percent on June and up 3 percent on June 2008; overnight deposits amount to 56.994 billion lei, down 14.2 percent from last June.
According to the BNR figures, the foreign net assets stood at 14.8 55 billion lei in July, up 71.1 percent on June and up 1.8 percent from July 2008, while the domestic assets reached 166.528 billion lei, by 3 percent less than in June and by 14.5 percent smaller on July 2008.
