PM to meet on Tuesday with trade unions to discuss on single salary law

2 septembrie 2009

Information in English

PM Emil Boc meets on Tuesday morning at Victoria Palace with representatives of trade unions to discuss on single salary law, after a part of the Boca cabinet on Sunday established the salary coefficients.

This is the last meeting between trade unionists and the premier ahead of the beginning of procedure for the Government’s assuming responsibility for the single salary law.

The Government examined in an informal meeting on Sunday trade unions’ proposal on the reduction of maximum salary coefficient to 12 from 15, as it had been in the latest variant of the uniform wage system.

Such decision would entail the diminution of high salaries, including for the president, according to official sources.
