State Secretary for Strategic Affairs Bogdan Aurescu on Tuesday signed the condolence book opened by the US Embassy in Bucharest in memory of Senator Edward M. Kennedy, the Romanian Foreign Ministry announced.
“The American nation has lost an extraordinary political leader, a source of inspiration for the public service, a symbol of the American dream and an important supporter of the American foreign policy in the field of human rights, peace and democracy,” Aurescu said.
Senator Edward Moore , “Ted” Kennedy, one of the famous names of the American politics and the main liberal voice in the US Congress died on Tuesday, Aug 25, at the age of 77, after a long battle with cancer.
