The National Centre for the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases has reported a first case of A/H1N1 flu virus disease in an education unit in Romania, a girl student in a high school in Slobozia, whose laboratory tests were confirmed on Wednesday by Cantacuzino National Institute as positive, the Ministry of Health informs.
At present, the school student is isolated and the medical doctors from Ialomita Public Health Department have started an epidemiology investigation for the monitoring of the health status of all the contacts.
According to existing procedures, starting on Thursday classes attended by the school student will be suspended up to seven days.
