Representatives of political parties and of magistrates sign principles of Pact for Justice

The representatives of the political parties and of the magistrates signed, Thursday, Sept 24, the principles of the Pact for Justice, setting the leading lines of the negotiations between the executive power, the legislative power and the legal power.

The document was not signed by the representatives of the Ministry of Justice and Citizens’ Freedoms, and the representatives of the Democratic-Liberal Party, PD-L, in the ruling coalition, signed it mentioning that it does not assume the stipulations of this act.

The principles agreed on following the meetings between the representatives of the magistrates from Sept 17,22 and 23 regard the independence of justice in achieving the act of justice, the financing of the judicial system, the relation of justice in achieving the act of justice, the financing of the judicial system, the relation of justice with other powers of the state, the ensuring of the good administration in justice, the condition of the judge and the public image.
