Bucharest Court judges not to be part of electoral bureaus

Magistrates with the Bucharest Court on Tuesday have decided not to take part in the election bureaus established in Bucharest.
They have also decided to suspend protests until October 31st while the Court sessions will be resumed on Wednesday, September 30th.

Also on Tuesday, the Court of Bucharest Districts 1 and 2 have decided to continue protests while magistrates with District 3 have decided to resume activity, at least until November 1st.
On Monday, the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ) and judges with the Courts of Bucharest Districts 4 and 6 have decided to resume activity, while the Court of District 5 will continue protests until October 5th. Several Courts in Romania have already decided to resume sessions.

Head of the High Council of Magistracy, Virgil Andre ies, called on magistrates to end protests and resume sessions and prosecutors to restart their activity after the setting up, within Parliament, of a special commission that has to evaluate the problems facing the justice system.
