He mentioned, after a meeting at the Cotroceni Palace with president Traian Basescu and with PM Emil Boc, that at stake is a scenario translated into facts by the head of state and the prime minister.
According to Geoana, president Basescu “mimicked” a mediation, coming with the “hypocritical” solution of an independent minister of Interior. “This is an attempt to force the coalition and the responsibility goes to Basescu and Boc, ” said the PSD leader. Mircea Geoana accused the head of state that he can “reach a European record” and can be the president that has destroyed three governments by his own hand.
