First edition of Black Sea Energy and Economic Forum in Bucharest

The first edition of the Black Sea Energy and Economic Forum, an event organized by the Atlantic Council of the United States, with the support of the Romanian Minister of Economy (ME) and the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs (MAE), to be carried out in Bucharest over September 30 – October 2.

The Conference will bring together the world leaders, the representatives of the business environment and the political personalities to debate on energy issues.
The Forum will be presided by the head of the Atlantic Council Senator Chuck Hagel, the executive director of Rompetrol Holding and member of the International Committee of Consultancy of the Atlantic Council Dinu Patriciu, as well as the executive director of Eni S.p.A. Paolo Scaroni.

Among the participants in the Forum there were Richard Morningstar, the special U.S. correspondent on Energy issues to Eurasia, charimen and directors of Areva, DEPA, ExxonMobil, Hellenic Petroleum, Hunt Oil, KazMunaiGas, OMV, Sabanci Energy group, Schulmberger, SOCAR, as well as Ministers of Economy and Energy in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Romania and Turkmenistan.
