Loading ...On Wednesday the Government has passed an Emergency Ordinance which allows the organisation of a referendum on the unicameral parliament in the same day with the presidential elections.
‘We’ve adopted an emergency ordinance on the referendum giving the Romanian president the opportunity to call a referendum on the issue of unicameral parliament,’ said M Emil Boc upon the government’s meeting.
The proposed Emergency Ordinance provides the possibility of holding a referendum on the introduction of unicameral parliament in the same day with the presidential elections.
