IPSO Agricultura, the division of the local dealer of cars, IPSO, reinvested two million euros for the construction of a regional dealer of tractors and agricultural tools in the county of Dolj, daily Ziarul Financiar writes on Monday.
According to the representatives of the company, the dealership, built on a plot of land of 1.7 ha, includes, along with the showroom of equipment also a service department and a storehouse of spare parts, as “The headquarters of IPSO Agricultura intends to cover the counties of Olt, Dolj, Gorj, Mehedinti and Valcea,” said the representatives of the company.
The dealership of the IPSO group is one of the few investment made in the distribution of farming equipment. According to the president of Roman Brasov Ioan Neculaie, the local market has a low equipping degree with agriculture tools, with the tractor deficit at national level standing at 300,000 tractors. IPSO Agricultura is the division of the local dealer of Dacia, Renault and Nissan IPSO, held by the French group Moneyeur.
The company owns, at local level seven centers for the distribution and repairing of farming equipment, in Mogosoaia, Fetesti, Craiova, Timisoara, Oradea, Targu Mures and Filipesti. Under study are also other projects, involving recruiting and training planes, specified the representatives of the company.
IPSO Agricultura employs 180 people in the distribution of agricultural tools and is the importer of the tool producer John Deere, Kuhn, of the Geringhoff or Valtec tractors Cluj.. The group of the producers of agricultural tools, tractors in particular, diminished to a few companies in the past few years, after the bankruptcy of Tractorul Brasov plant.
The only current makers are the Bucharest company Geda Prodexim, MAT Craiova, the Egyptian company Chrystal, assembling tractors on Roman platform and the Chinese from Hoyo, who started the building of a factory in Rasnov.
