Immediately after the promulgation of the law on the unified pay for the state employees, it will be set up the inter-ministerial Group which is to make corrections to this normative act, caretaker Labour Minister Gheorghe Pogea announced at the end of the talks with the trade union confederations, on Tuesday.
“Fifteen days after the Constitutional Court passes this law package (the law on unified pay, the law on education and the law on restructuring governmental agencies – editor”s note) and President Traian Basescu approves it, the Labour Ministry will issue an order founding the Committee, this inter-ministerial working Group,” said Pogea.
According to him, the Group is charged with altering and simplifying the law on unified pay of the public employees, and with making corrections to the law, on the occasion. “Anyway, we are not talking about changing the general framework and the principles, but we”ll have in view the vocational classes, a simplification and a better representation of the pay for the social categories, ” said Pogea.
According to him, the trade unions officials agreed with that. An inter-ministerial committee made up of representatives of the main trade union confederations and the relevant ministers will work and amend the law on the unified pay in the state sector, it was decided in mid-September during the last round of the negotiations between the Government and the trade unions officials, before the executive took responsibility for the law.
Each trade union confederation will be deputized for in the Committee, in order to check the way it is implemented, as well as to watch all the corrections to be made to the law.
