Vice-president of the United States of America Joe Biden will be in Bucharest, in the second half of the month of October, on which occasion he will meet president Traian Basescu. Biden will go to the Czech Republic and Poland, between Oct 20 and 24, shortly after the US gave up the project of the anti-missile shield, which had to be placed in the two countries, and on that occasion he will visit also Romania, informed the White House, quoted by the international press agencies.
The vice-president will visit three allies from NATO – Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic, between Oct 20 and 24.
During this visit, Biden will meet heads of state and government, MPs and other political decision makers and members of the civil society, they will approach together a vast range of topics, his office said. Joe Biden will evoke the amelioration of the trade links and the rise in investment, the consolidation of democracy and topics of joint security, the release also said.
