Prof. dr. Camelia Toader was elected head of the 8th Commission of the Court of Justice of the European Communities. On Thursday, following the election of the Court of Justice of the European Communities and of the presidents of the Chambers by five judges, the judges of the Court elected from them the presidents of the chambers of three judges, in conformity with art 10, para 1 of the Regulation for the procedure of the Court of Justice. So, elected was, for a period of one year, Camelia Toader, as head of the eighth chamber.
Camelia Toader is prof.dr, at the chair of private law of the University of Bucharest, one of the oldest education institutes of Bucharest, one of the oldest education institutions of higher education of Romania, which, in the second half of next month, will celebrate 150 years since it was set up.
By her election in this high position, the European fora give a new recognition of the moral and professional qualities of the teachers of the Law Faculty of the oldest Bucharest education institutions for higher education, along with Toader, in the European law institutions being also other prestigious staff from the Romanian academic community.
