President of the Social Democratic Party, PSD, Mircea Geoana announced that the parties in the Opposition will demonstrate, in a joint sitting of Parliament, scheduled for Wednesday,” the existence of the parliamentary majority, who supports the candidacy of Klaus Johannis to the position of prime minister.
“We will have tomorrow (on Wednesday – e.n.) a plenary meeting of the joint Chambers of Parliament, to adopt a resolution by which we will propose the noticing of the support for the candidacy of Klaus Johannis for the position of prime minister of Romania.
We want to demonstrate in this way the existence in fact of this parliamentary majority, of 65 percent. We want to give an extremely clear message as regards the support of the joint meeting of the Standing Bureaus of the two chambers of Parliament, adding that the decision of the parliamentary majority is “extremely important.”
