Minister Blaga also made it clear that there would be more operators working with the 112 emergency service on November 22 and that citizens who want to notify irregularities in connection with the voting process would be able to do it by using this number too.
Vasile Blaga told a news conference organized at the Ministry of Administration and the Interior that the schedule of the presidential election was strictly observed and that all institutions involved in the voting process fulfilled the duties they have in keeping with the law.
“All the measures mentioned in the electoral schedule were observed, a fact that makes me think that the voting process will be very well organized. In the end one will be able to see the demagogy of some people who tried to put forward the idea that this ministry, which has never been involved in political scandals referring to rigging elections, might be involved in such a thing. It goes without saying that more respect is needed for the people working with this ministry,” said Blaga.
The above-mentioned ministry also informed that, concurrently with the beginning of the election campaign on Friday, October 23, the public radio and TV stations would give coverage to the campaign meant to inform and make citizens aware, which is titled “Illegal Voting Means Going to Prison.”
