‘The agenda of talks focused on the strategy of the process of transformation of intelligence services, politics and strategies designed for turning them more efficient, as well as the fields of interest pertaining to the prevention and fight against measures and threats to security,’ reads the aforementioned release.
Approached at the meeting were also the outlooks for strengthening bilateral cooperation, as well as the security situation at European level and within EU and NATO.
The two-day official visit (October 22-23) of the president of Bundesamt fur Verfassungsschutz-BfV was part of the consolidation of cooperation ties between the two countries’ intelligence services and is aimed to contribute to the intensification and strengthening of cooperation between Romania and Germany, reads the aforementioned release.
