If one takes into account the opinion polls, the election looks no longer important, but I am telling my fellow citizens that these elections do matter, and I am inviting them with all due love to turn out and support me, as it is the time of change. Go, Romania!, Oprescu said, after the official submission of his candidacy.
Sorin Oprescu tabled at the BEC headquarters 400,000 signatures and he also has 200,000 more, in reserve, at his campaign headquarters.
He was backed up by a group of young people dressed in white, on which it was written “Go, Romania!” and “Oprescu, president!” as well as his electoral symbol, a seven-pointed star.”
