The new Government is made up of: Gheorghe Pogea – Finances Minister, Florin Saghi – Administration and Interior Minister, Radu Berceanu – Minister of Transport and Communications, Bogdan Aurescu – Foreign Affairs Minister, Adriean Videanu – Economy and Trade Minister, Daniel Funeriu – Minister of Education, Research, Youth and Sport, Vasile Blaga – Minister of Regional Development and Tourism, Mihai Seitan – Labour Minister, Mihai Stanisoara – Defence Minister, Catalin Predoiu – Justice Minister, Adrian Radulescu – Agriculture Minister, Cristian Vladescu – Health Minister, Theodor Paleologu – Culture Minister, Sulfina Barbu – Environment Minister.
‘I decided to assume responsibility to fulfil the duty I’ve been entrusted by the president (…) I made up a governmental team made up of capable people,’ said Croitoru.
He announced that the ministers’ list and the ruling programme were sent on Friday to the Parliament.
Lucian Croitoru said that President Traian Basescu and representatives of the Democrat Liberal Party (PD-L) gave him assurances that his Cabinet would be supported by a parliamentary majority.
