Loading ...Senate Chairman and Social Democratic leader Mircea Geoana on Friday at the Parliament Palace said he was expecting PM designate Croitoru to come up with other proposals for the PM seat, given that most of those proposed got thumbs down by the expert committees.
“An elementary, democratic and legal thing is that those who were not approved by the committees should be replaced by PM Croitoru and the Democratic Liberal ministers who have been holding these positions for some time, should resign. This is in fact a no confidence vote for each of these ministers,” Geoana said.
He said that PM Croitoru should have “the decency and political strength” to tell President Basescu he could not go before Parliament with the proposed ministers who were not endorsed, while the PDL members should understand that “the people’s trust and patience is taking advantage of.”
“We wait for a new list of ministers and for the resignation of the PDL ministers,” Geoana explained.
