According to PNL Prime vice-president, the commission is formed of Varujan Vosganian, Dan Radu Rusanu, Daniel Chitoiu, Mariana Campeanu, Eugen Nicolaescu and Ludovic Orban.
“We will draw up a budget starting from our governing programme ideas. We wish a budget to stop the economic decline and to re-launch the economy, a budget set to secure all the necessary resources for resuming the investment process and for the creation of jobs and an economic growth in 2010″, said Orban.
He said that the budget bill will be submitted to Parliament for debates and will not be discussed with the caretaker Executive. The liberal Prime vice-president stressed that the PNL bill will not take into account some of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) requirements liberals oppose.
“We do not agree with the decoupling between the pension point and the average wage. We will further support a pension law with the elimination of privileges, but we will further maintain that the pension point must be directly connected to the average wage per economy, so that the pensions rise according to Romania’s economic growth. As for the wage law, we cannot agree that education, research, health care are treated as Cinderellas “, said Orban.
As well, the liberal leader underlined that the state budget bill for 2010, to be drawn up by PNL, will not take into account revenues derived from the lump-sum tax, this party being against its introduction.
“We will introduce incentives for the creation of jobs. We wanted to cut VAT to 15 percent, the flat tax from 16 percent to 15 percent, but there are some rigors set in the fiscal legislation. (…) The measures of fiscal relaxation we support are part of PNL governing programme and will form the negotiation basis after the presidential elections”, added Orban.
