The interim Prime Minister Emil Boc on Tuesday stated while paying a visit to the western Oradea City that the Government proposed by Lucian Croitoru will in his opinion be approved by the Parliament on Wednesday, for Romania needs a new Cabinet as soon as possible, so as to be able to fulfill its international commitments also to observe the priorities of the Romanians.

According to the Premier, from the viewpoint of the Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L), the government will be approved by the Parliament on Wednesday, although he hoped the National Liberal Party (PNL), the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) ‘would not invent other reasons’ to favour Mircea Geoana and Crin Antonescu, the Social Democratic and the Liberal leader respectively, who are running in the upcoming presidential elections.
Emil Boc added the two were for too long putting their personal and their parties’ interests above the Romanians’.
