‘All analyses point to that fact that 2009 has seen the peak of the economic crisis in Romania. 2010 means the year of coming out of the crisis and of the country’s economic recovery. We’ll have economic growth next year. We are not going to see a minus, we are going to see a plus.
I think the global economic crisis peaked in 2009 and has exhausted its maximal resources, and this is the reason why I am optimistic’, Boc said in the western Arad city. According to the caretaker premier, infrastructure cannot be ignored in 2010, since it is the main component of Romania’s modernisation.
‘Without money for infrastructure we will have neither a modernised country nor kept jobs and we’ll not attain the European Union standards. For this, however, we’ll have to save money in other areas, namely where there is abuse. /…/ The couple of laws we have adopted so far will bring money for the country’s modernisation’, Boc stressed.
