“In education there is a principle: financing follows the pupil. In constructions financing follows the builder that works. We shall go on considering this thing. The good news we have got is that, on December 1, this stretch of ring road will be finished,” said Emil Boc. According to manager Beniamin Rus, the value of the work on this stretch amounts to almost 30 million lei.
Emil Boc made it clear that, for the time being, one must finish the work that began: the 42 km in Cluj (central Romania), the ring road of Timisoara (western Romania), the ring road of Ploiesti (southern Romania), the subway at Baneasa, Bucharest.
“We shall suggest, no matter in what formula, that next year too, at least 20 percent of the money – 2010 will be a year of economic growth – should be allocated to infrastructure. As too many projects in this country began and were not finished,” said the Premier. On Tuesday too the Incumbent Prime Minister and Minister of Transports Radu Berceanu also inspected and checked the work on the ring road in Timisoara (western Romania) and on the Timisoara-Arad motorway.
