‘The government hails the Court’s decision for it is obvious two more pledges made by Romania under the arrangements with the IMF and the European Commission, the Government worked all summer to be able to meet, more precisely the restructuring of the government agencies and the elimination of the tax on reinvested profit, which was also included with the restructuring of the government agencies law package and the single pay law.
The decision the Constitutional Court ruled today increased Romania’s chances in obtaining the promised money,’ Boc said, also underlying that transferring of the next tranches was conditioned also on the adopting of the pension law, of the law on ministerial responsibility and of the state budget law. The Constitutional Court on Wednesday ruled that the single pay law and the law on restructuring of the government agencies were in compliance with the Romanian Constitution.
