Loading ...No member of the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Romania has had so far any problems with the new flu, said head of the IMF delegation in Bucharest Jeffrey Franks.
He said that the IMF experts carried out their activity in various countries, which have more serious medical problems, and this risk was part of their job.
Jeffrey Franks added that he recently met Secretary of State with the Romanian Ministry of Public Finance Gratiela Iordache, who was diagnosed with the A/H1N1 virus, but said that he was not afraid he might get ill and did not intend to see a doctor.
“I met her, she is a good friend and I wish her to get well soon,” said the IMF representative. Secretary of State Gratiela Iordache was diagnosed with the A/H1N1 flu, a reason for which all the offices and toilets in the Ministry of Finance will be disinfected.
