According to the document, there cannot be adopted the 2010 budget law right now for the Boc Government failed ‘to do its legal duty’ of submitting the project to the Parliament before October 15.

‘The IMF representatives wanted a political signal from behalf of Romania related to its intention towards the continuation of policies stipulated under the Stand-By Arrangement with the IMF.

The Romanian Parliament expressed its full commitment and support to observing the macroeconomic indicators as they were stipulated under the IMF Arrangement,’ said the declaration adopted by the Legislative. The Deputies and the Senators expressed their belief that only thus Romania could overcome the economic crisis and could become ‘a credible partner to the international organisms’.
