According to him, the draft 2010 budget represents the top priority of the political moment, with this being also the main condition imposed after the negotiations with the IMF.
The PSD leader voiced regret, in this context, for his letter on Friday addressed to President Traian Base scu and Premier Emil Boc has so far remained without an answer.
‘The main objective of the next interval before the presidential elections, is the debate in Parliament of the 2010 draft budget,’ Geoana said, also adding that this objective is going to represent a positive signal for the Romanian internal market, a signal in the same time for the entrepreneurs and to bring a minimum of political predictability.
Mircea Geoana also mentioned that the PSD reserved its right to, while observing the budget limit of 5.9 of the GDP, to define a series of ‘anti-crisis measures’, such as social and economic measures.
