The UDMR leader also said that, during the electoral campaign, he noticed people were tired of conflicts and that they wanted political peace. ‘The people say that the politicians were only concerned with the conflicts inside their parties and not with the problems of the citizens,’ Hunor said.
‘From this viewpoint, I am probably the most relaxed of the candidates for president, for I have nothing to lose. That’s why I cannot afford to make promises I would not be able to respect’, Hunor added.
In other words, the UDMR leader said that, in case he would not make it to the second round of the presidential elections, ‘UDMR would not offer its support to another candidate, unless certain conditions are observed’.
