Negoita said on Sunday after the consultations at the Victoria Palace (Govt hqs) that the independent parliamentarians are to back him up and support his Cabinet, in the Parliament, but the representatives of the minorities said they had a different option.
‘We held another round of negotiations.
It’s good to talk. Even since I was designated I wanted talks. It’d be better we talk, in this country, instead of insulting each other. Look, some have understood this, namely the representatives of the minorities and the group of independent MPs. The latter will support the Cabinet and the minorities told me they have another option,’ said Negoita. The Premier designate said he would propose a political government supported by the Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L).
‘It is a political government mostly supported by (PD-L), a member of which I am too,’ Negoita stressed. He confirmed that ministers from the Lucian Croitoru Cabinet would be also members of his Cabinet, because ‘they are worthy people.’ PM designate Negoita will also meet with the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) president Marko Bela at the Victoria Palace, early on Monday.
