First vice president of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Ludovic Orban said on Tuesday in Sinaia (west of Bucharest) that the Liberals would collaborate on forming a new cabinet with any political party willing to accept the party’s political agenda.

Orban refused to give an answer, when asked which of the two parties, PSD and PD-L, he would prefer. However, he made it clear that rebuilding the D.A. Alliance (PD-L, PNL) was out of the question.

On the same note, the PNL vice president Varujan Vosganian said that the alliance with the democrats was an error and defined President Basescu as a “politician with a primitive intuition, who plays by ear.” The Liberal leaders attended on Tuesday, in Slatina, an event aimed at supporting their candidate to presidency, Crin Antonescu.
