Loading ...The results of a survey conducted by the Sociologic Research and Branding Company, made public on Friday, saw President Traian Basescu as winner of the first round of election, while the second round would be won by Mircea Geoana or Sorin Oprescu.
In the first round Basescu is seen as wining 34% of votes, Mircea Geoana 31%, Crin Antonescu 16%, Sorin Oprescu 10%, Corneliu Vadim Tudor 4%, Kelemen Hunor 3% and George Becali 2%. In case of a confrontation between Sorin Oprescu and Traian Basescu, the first would get 51% of votes while the latter only 49%.
In case Basescu competes against Crin Antonescu, both candidates would get 50% of votes. If parliamentary elections were held , 33% would vote for the PSD+PC Alliance, 32% for PD- L, 17% for PNL, 7% for PRM, 6% for UDMR and 4% for PNG. The survey was conducted between Nov 7th-11th and has an error margin of 2.7 percent.
