Mircea Geoana, the PSD candidate for the presidential election, who is on an electoral tour in Brasov (central Romania), said he was convinced that he would create such a coalition after the elections. “I need a coalition that should go beyond the ruling coalition. A ruling coalition is too small to solve Romania’s problems. The coalition is not pro PSD, it is pro Romania.
I am not interested in your having Liberal affinities, I need the elite in the provinces, there are talent and very important resources in this country’s counties,” Geoana told the businessmen. He thinks that it is a pity for such a coalition not to exist 20 years after the Revolution, but also under the circumstances when the country is in a political, economic and social crisis, and especially considering the potential of the Romanian businessmen, “who worked hard.”
“It is not shameful to be a politician as long as you fulfil your duty. This country is not going to go to the dogs, we re going to give it stability and direction,” said the PSD leader.
