Loading ...Romanian interim Premier Emil Boc on Friday told a joint press conference with his Moldovan counterpart Vlad Filat that the Romanian Executive adopted a Memorandum on the restructuring of the Romanian Citizenship Agency.
‘Romania observs its legislation and, in the same time, from an administrative viewpoint, we decided to adopt a Memorandum in the Government on the restructuring, beginning with 2010, of the Citizenship Agency, so that to shorten to maximum 5 months the duration of the citizenship request processing, since the moment of the submission of the till the completion of the entire procedure, for the bureaucratic mechanisms were blocking this process’, Emil Boc said.
President Traian Basescu on Wednesday promulgated the law on the approval of the Emergency Ordinance No. 36 as of 2009 on the simplification of the modality of granting the Romanian citizenship in the case of those people whose relatives are Romanian citizens.
