Moldovan Premier is first in Romania after being invested

Incumbent Prime Minister Emil Boc on Friday, in the Victoria Palace, will meet Premier of the Republic of Moldova Vlad Filat. On this occasion the two men will have a tete-a-tete and will hold talks in the plenum of the official delegations, at the end of which they will sign several bilateral documents:

the agreement on the small cross-border traffic, the intergovernmental agreement on the cross-border points between Romania and the Republic of Moldova and the protocol on amending the intergovernmental agreement on mutually protecting and promoting investments, which was signed in Bucharest on August 14, 1992. Vlad Filat on Friday and Saturday is in Romania for the first time officially after being invested as Premier of the Republic of Moldova.

On Friday afternoon Filat will be received by President Traian Basescu at the Cotroceni Palace. Premier Vlad Filat and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca head the delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the Summit of the Central European Initiative (CEI), which takes place in Bucharest. Romania holds the CEI presidency in office till December 31.
