“The aim of this working meeting is to see the stage of the government resolutions referring to the application of the law on disbanding, merging governmental agencies,” said Emil Boc at the beginning of the meeting.
The Head of Government asked every minister to present the stage of the government resolutions and requested the Ministry of Finance (MPF) and the Ministry of Justice (MJ) to approve these norm setting documents by Tuesday.
Boc also warned against issuing norm setting documents that should have a term of coming into force different from the one stipulated by the law.
General secretary Gabriela Andreescu said that there were 10 draft resolutions with the General Secretariat of the Government (SGG), two of them referring to the activity of the institution concerning the departments that merged together and eight referring to the agencies that are subordinated to the Prime Minister and SGG.
According to her, all of them are currently being approved by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance, no problems existing.
Interim Minister of Administration and the Interior Vasile Blaga also made an analysis of the stage of reorganizing the agencies subordinated to him. “We have eight draft resolutions, one of them is secret, seven are normal ones, all of them are in the original or in copies with the ministries [Finance and Justice]. There are no problems. The reorganization of the National Agency of State Reserves is secret,” said Blaga.
The government resolutions referring to the reorganization of the governmental agencies within the Ministry of Agriculture were submitted to the Ministries of Justice and Finance for approval. Seven such norm setting documents were issued, only one referring to the central apparatus of the ministry. The law on restructuring the governmental agencies will disband, merge and reorganize 122 governmental agencies, with about 9,000 positions in focus.
