The next conference of the chiefs of staff of Balkan armies is scheduled for 2010 in Romania, an event to be carried out under the aegis of the Romanian Chief of the Army Staff.
This regional cooperation initiative is designed to boost military cooperation in the Balkans and strengthen confidence and security in the zone, reads the release.
Attending the meeting of the Coordination Group are army chief of staff experts from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey and Romania.
