The subway’s trade unions representatives are waited for at the Metrorex hqs. for a new round of negotiations, Transport Minister Radu Berceanu said, adding he is awaiting them for talks till 9 p.m.
‘If they want to come, I’ve no problem to talk to them,’ said Berceanu, pointing out that he is at the Ministry till 8-9 p.m. Berceanu stressed that he had invited the unions for a new negotiation round, at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, but only three persons came to attend the discussions with Metrorex general manager Gheorghe Udriste, ‘without any special mandate, but they just wanted to tick the idea that the negotiations were going on.’
The trade unions members of Metrorex started an indefinite all-out strike between 4 a.m and 4 p.m. as a result of the Metrorex administration’s refusal to raise salaries.
