The Bulgarian side will be represented by deputy Foreign Minister Krassimir Kostov, with the two officials to discuss such topics as the institutional affairs amid the enforcement of the Lisbon Treaty, the climate changes, the economic and financial crisis and the energy security.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the European Union enlargement process and the European prospects of the Western Balkans, the relations between the EU and the Republic of Moldova, the project of the future EU Strategy for the Danube region; also discussed will be the EU¬Russia relation and the EU initiatives in the Black Sea area, the foreign ministry said.
