“We are going to discuss the more than 60 Government resolutions referring to the disbanding and restructuring of the governmental agencies. This is why, even if it is an effort taking more time, I would like every one of you to concentrate on the draft resolution you have, being more careful and extremely vigilant as regards justice and finance, for either of them,” the Premier told the ministers.
He mentioned the fact that there were two preparatory meetings referring to these Government resolutions that are to be approved after the law on restructuring the governmental agencies came into force.
Emil Boc said last week that, by November 19, the Government would issue the norm setting documents meant to apply the law on restructuring the governmental agencies by which 112 governmental agencies are disbanded, merged and reorganized, namely 9,000 restructured positions.
“This means we have halved the number of the governmental agencies, which are largely a source for the political clientele. This is why this decision also meets the requirement of diminishing the budget apparatus that is in excess at a central level, namely there where there is bureaucratic obesity,” explained Boc.
