According to Turcescu, the debate will focus on nine subjects of general interest, starting from the state of agriculture, health or the moral reform of the Romanian society. The talk of the three candidates will take place on Friday, November 20, at the Parliament Palace, I C Bratianu hall, and will begin at 7 pm.
Robert Turcescu made it clear that they tried to find a formula meant to make possible a direct address by every candidate to his voters and a number of face-to-face confrontations, during which they would be able to have a one-to-one dialogue.
There will also be a round-table conference during which the candidates will debate the nine subjects the campaign teams agreed on. The press attending the talks will be able to ask questions of the three candidates.
“It is a formula that, from a te levisual point of view, should not look like a monologue given by the candidates. We want to see a lively debate which should reveal both the oratorical qualities of the candidates and their capability to create a state of empathy with the audience they address,” explained Turcescu.
Violeta Alexandru assured the candidates they would have a balanced time for debate, distributed in such a way that every one of them should be able to impart his voters the concrete ideas he suggests for the future mandate.
