Loading ...In keeping with the data supplied by the Agency of Payments for Rural Development and Fisheries (APDRP), by November 19, 2009, payments worth about 150 million euros were made to the beneficiaries of the investment measures implemented by APDRP. 7,247 reimbursement applications amounting to a total of 155 million euros were authorized.
Since PNDR was launched in March 2008, 9,122 projects have been contracted. They amounted to a total value of 1.68 billion euros on the eight open measures and the two schemes for state aid. The APDRP managers think that 2010 will be the year in which there will be a peak of the payments for the projects contracted through PNDR.
Currently the Agency of Payments is in an advanced stage as regards the preparation of the launch of Measure 125, “Investments for Modernization of the Farming and Forest Infrastructure.” It will happen in 2010 most probably.
By November 10, 2009, 17,963 projects were submitted to PNDR, their total value being higher than 10.1 billion euros, according to the data centralized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.
PNDR was approved on February 20, 2008 by the representatives of the 27 states that were members of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission and was launched in Romania in early March 2008. The total value allocated to Romania for rural development through this programme amounts to about 8.8 billion euros for 2007-2013.
