Between the current moment and December 6 Romanians have to decide if they want a Romania launching a speeded up reform process and one governed by Mircea Geoana proposed alliance, whose goal is the preservation of the political class privileges, stated on Thursday, during the Parliament Palace debate, President Traian Basescu, the candidate backed by the Democrat Liberal Party (PD-L).
“Romania is in front of an option, a strong option in favor of a modern society, or the option of going back in time through the return to Cotroceni Palace of the Social Democratic Party (PSD)”, said Basescu. Traian Basescu promised on the same occasion to Romanians he will urgently implement the results of Nov. 22 referendum.
