The same decision was also made as regards the voting contested by the representatives of five parties who requested the votes in the polling stations abroad should be counted again, their notification being sent to the electoral bureau of the polling stations abroad.
The representatives of the National Liberal Party, of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania, of the Greater Romania Party and of the Green Party in the electoral bureau for the polling stations abroad contested the result of the presidential election outside Romania and refused to sign the report on the results. They mentioned electoral tourism, multiple voting and the offer of some advantages in exchange for voting for a certain candidate, illegal acts that were said to have happened in Spain, Italy and the Republic of Moldova.
BEC also discussed almost 30 notifications, most of them coming from the representatives of Pro Democratia, who complained of various deviations from the electoral conduct, according to BEC spokesman Marian Muhulet.
