In 2010, Romania will record a 1.3 percent economic increase and a 5.9 percent of the GDP budget deficit, on Sunday said the Prime-Minister designate Emil Boc, when announced the list of the new Cabinet and the governing principles.
It is a ‘realistic” prognosis and it is based on expert analyses, on those of the IMF and the EC specialists included, Emil Boc specified. The previous estimate for the economic increase was 0.5 percent.
After having a slight economic increase in 2010, only in the next year, 2011, we will be able to talk about a consistent economic increase, Emil Boc added. As the same time, the Premier Designate said that the Government intended to maintain the flat tax and the VAT at the current levels, 16 percent and 19 percent, respectively.
