‘It deals with a fight command against the tax evasion,’ Boc explained. Romania’s prime minister pointed out that combating and diminishing tax evasion is one of the important sources of revenues to the state budget.
‘This Government has the entire determination, strength and capacity to fight against tax evasion, to erase its sources, and send as much money as possible to the state budget, money to finance infrastructure works and cover the state’s social costs,’ PM Boc stressed. The Inter-ministerial Council for Combating Tax Evasion will be made of officials of the Finance Ministry, the Ministry of Administration and the Interior, the Ministry of Justice and of the other ministries including departments related to the tax evasion problems.
