The joint Standing Bureaus of the Senate and the Deputies’ Chamber met, on Monday, to schedule the agenda of the plenary sitting to debate and approve the 2010 state budget and the social security budget.
According to the draft agenda, the joint Bureaus hold their first meeting, on Monday between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Plenary sittings are scheduled on Tuesday and on Wednesday, between 9 a.m and 10 p.m, with one-hour break, while on Thursday, the works are to start at 9 a.m. and continue till the debates end.
The Standing Bureaus’ agenda schedules the joint plenary meeting of the Deputies’ Chamber and the Senate to discuss the joint reports by the Parliament’s Commissions for budget and finance.
The Chamber’s Standing Bureau will also meet on Monday to convene the extraordinary plenary meeting to debate the Law authorising the Government to issue ordinances during the Parliament’s recess, that the Senate passed with amendments.
