The European Commission (EC) experts on Tuesday will begin their assessment mission on the progress made by Romania in the Justice field, with a preliminary report to be issued in February.
The team of experts will inaugurate their assessment mission under the Mechanism of Cooperation and Verification (MCV) with a visit to the Ministry of Justice, to be followed by a meeting with the representatives of the National Agency for Integrity. On Tuesday, the EC representatives have scheduled a visit to the National Anti-Corruption Department (DNA) hqrs, to meet the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office.
Moreover, under the same assessment mission, the experts will meet on Wednesday with the representatives of the Supreme Council of Magistrates (CSM). The EC assessment team will have meetings with the representatives of the Public Ministry too.
