The agenda of the bilateral discussions included topics relevant for the development of the Romanian-German relations at political and economic level, as well as an exchange of opinions on common interest topics for the European agenda and for the regional situation.
The Romanian side reiterated the interest for the development of material projects, together with German partners under the aegis of the European Union Strategy for Danube cooperation, especially in the fields of transportation, environmental protection, business environment, tourism and appreciated the substantial support of the German side for the projects promoted by Romania within the Black Sea Synergy.
The talks between the two officials confirmed the level and substance of the political dialogue between Romania and Germany and offered an opportunity to explore new cooperation possibilities within the EU institutional structures, adds the ministry’s release.
