The Romanian delegation will be headed by Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Mihail Dumitru, the ministry announced. On Friday and Saturday, he will take part in the plenary debates of the international meeting of the agriculture ministers on Agriculture and Climate Changes and he will also attend the 2010 Agriculture Ministers’ Summit on the same topic.
The Romanian minister will hold bilateral meetings with the agriculture ministers from the member states. The Romanian ministry’s delegation will present the German businessmen the investment opportunities in Romania; Saturday, Jan. 16 will be declared Romania’s Day.
Ten Romanian agriculture firms will display on 165 square meters area their traditional products such as honey, wines, fruit, tinctures of plants, cheese, canned fruit and vegetables. Romania has been participating in the Green Week for eight consecutive years.
